10 clubs will represent the Super Soccer League as entrants to the “DMV Sumer Copa” during Summer 2024! The tournement will be organized into 2 Copas:
DMV “Gold” Copa:
Only 16 playoff-eligible teams from Division 1 affiliate leagues (APL1, MSSL1, VSSL, DCPL1) will compete in a “Champion’s League” style competition, spanning July 14-August 18. The following teams will represent SSL based on their performance during the regular season:
Steel Pulse (MSSL D1 – Champions)
A3 Highlanders (MSSL D1 – Runners-Up)
Virginia Dream (VSSL – Champions)
Estudiantes (VSSL – Playoffs)
Alexandria United (VSSL – Playoffs)
DMV “Silver” Copa:
16 of the best remaining teams from affiliate leagues will compete in a “UEFA Europa League” style competition, spanning July 14-August 18. The following teams will represent SSL:
Baltimore Kickers (MSSL D2 promoted to D1)
North Stars FC (VSSL)
Slainte Athletic (new MSSL D2 entrant)
Ittihad FC (MSSL affiliate, champions of MMSL)
Baltimore City FC (MSSL affiliate, EPSL MidAtlantic semifinalist)
